Just a wee heads up but my copy appears to have shipped now :)

What with the mail strikes on I might get it sometime before next year \0/

My has been posted, i wonder if they sent it a bit earlier to help compensate the strike? Fingers crossed.

Remember folks...no talk of actually PLAYING the game unless you prove ownership. Not until Thursday at least. Last thread got deleted.

We should use this thread to organise races etc too.

Can't wait. Gonna try the demo in a bit.

I liked the 3rd one although not the Kudos so much in career. Also by the time I got my hands on a 360 most of the people from here had stopped playing it. I found the career hard but I was racing my old style chase view.

Since then i've learnt no one really bothers with the handling in chase view anymore and I am much better in car.

I'm skint as well, so thats why I hope I dont like it :D
 
Well I have given the demo a play for 20 minutes. It's a lot harder than PGR3, by that I mean your opponents are smarter. The handling is the same for the cars though it is easier to pull off drifts.

Bikes. Well I have to say I am happy with them. It's not like Moto GP but its also not like Midnight Club. So it's all good. I like the fact that I can flip my finger up at cars behind. I would do that in my real car but driving a Rover doesn't earn that right.

Won't be getting is any time soon. No money :'(
 
Demo is amazing! Very exciting. Loved the race with the bike on the third challenge! Graphics are excellent, sounds great. Seems to be an improvement in those departments over PGR3 which is good news.:cool:

Ahhh! So that explains why MrClegg on my friends list hadn't been seen for so long, I'll add your new one when I get home tonight if that's ok :)
 
I remember having a few OcUK nights on PGR3 and getting abused by somebody on this forum because i tried over taking him and clipped him by accident :D

I wouldn't want any kids to hear the words he used :(

You should have just told him rubbins racing :D

I got a lot of abuse on PGR3 from first corner accidents :)

Yeah, for sure. Do it.:) I remember you being annoyingly good at this game!

I remember that optical_ox guy who used to play with us all the time. I emailed him a few months back and he is again on my friends list. He only seems to play PGR3 so i'm pretty sure he'll be up for some PGR4.
