I have just finished putting together my first full loop, I say my first as last week I done a cpu only, and today I have added a new gpu ( HIS 7950 ) and an extra rad. I also bought 16gb of the Avexir MPower ram to top it off.All in all, an enjoyable process, nothing really went wrong, except for 1 of the 90deg fittings I ordered was fault, it looks as if, it has been pressed on too hard, and the internal spacer is poking out. So I had to get creative on the top rad, with 3 45deg extensions.

With it being my first full loop I'm chuffed with the outcome. All the hose is nice and tight, even the cpu outlet to the bay res, as I've cut a piece of the case, to allow access to the fill port.

And the ram is what I based the whole theme around. With the ripple of the Avexir lights, it looks like the rigs heartbeat, that is where the name happened. I have been called Stungy for nearly 30 years, and with the black and yellow, and the case being a Phantom, it kinda made sense. I'm in the process of leak testing so haven't got many pics yet but here are a couple for now

Nice :)
What was the raystorm like fitting to the mpower?

I have this motherboard and going for that block so want to know :)

Cheers mate. The Raystorm was simple enough, really, Easier if I had a 3rd arm to hold the back plate on. The screws could do with being a tad longer, cos with the springs, they don't poke out of the other side without some force. So they need a good push to screw up, plus add to the fact, that the block, surround , and metal face plate are 3 different componants, it can be a bit tricky. It was more a pain in the arse than any thing. Masking tape ended up being my friend .

Does the backplate not come with the sticky pads to keep it in place?

Also what tubing did you go for and what fittings?

No mate, no sticky on this block. The only mounting tape I had lying around was too thick. I like the look of thin tubing so went for the 13/10mm ID 3/8 OD 1/2

ah ok :) Im not to keen on the thin tubing, only because i have an 800D and dont want it to look tiny lol..

Whats the xspc res like? that the pump/res combo?

Yes the res / pump combo. It's alright mate, the pump has got a bit of a whine, but once your distracted buy the move or game, you don't notice it. It's only a temp solution. My OH has ordered me a custom Frozen Q tri spiral from the States, it's costing her a fortune bless her. ( green, black, green, the green is yellow until uv hits it )

I tried thicker tubing before I put the cpu under water, but it looked out of proportion, it seemed to over power everything else. I think it is a good match, it would be a bit daft in a 800D though.
