The Photographers Ephemeris - Azimuth overlay software

For those landscape photographers out there, I've been wondering for a while if there was some way I could know where the sun was going to rise and set.

Anyway I remembered the term azimuth and googled for azimuth overlay software that you could use over a google map for instance and I found this. Seems like a very handy piece of software, and it's even available on the iphone for those of you who have all the latest gadgets

Its very handy software. I successfully used it on holiday in florida last month to get sunrise and sunset locations.
 
Yup, I use this. If the area you're shooting has sufficiently detailed google earth maps then you could even plan individual shots before you get there. Would be happy forever if google encorporated tidal ranges into their maps!
