The Pipelines of Fluke.....LE flavour

Just had a rather nice thing happen

when i first bought my LE the card would only run on 12 pipelines, so left it that, clocked the old girl and done the 1.2v volt mod back last october time, got bored tonight and thought stuff it....will try open up the extra ones.

last time i did this i ended up with artifacts galore, tried it tonight with the volt mod in place....no artifacts, full speed and a HUGE jump to 11327 in 3dmark!

thought this could just be fluke so have been playing quake 4 for the last 1 hour or so, no artifacts problems or slow down, card is running at 54 degrees on load and ive gained a monster jump in frame rate

Gotta love that fluke!

stock leadtek one atm....works a treat, set the fan speed to 90% in modded bios

mine just done to 1.2v mate, nothing ott, i didnt really gain anything from the 1.4v, tried it and switched back to 1.2

ok will have a go, guess it could be certain software that exerts or doesnt exert stress on the pipelines, but 3dmark, TOCA 3 demo and quake 4 work perfectly happy.

people may not find i had the same results, please dont blame me if it dont work lololol

Have looked into it a bit more since i got home

ran a stable run on '05 but left it on again at my proper clock and found some artifacting going on, so after really! beasting the pipes, looks like the plan isnt 100% fool proof......somewhere near 90%

still good to know that the card can run on the pipelines in games tho, and is a good indication of how much faster a GT would be......pretty damn tempted to save the pennies for one now
