So my house mate signed up to a trial for growth hormone. They had 3 categories: Normal dose, half dose and placebo. To measure the impact of growth hormone on the body. He had 30 days worth of stuff and had to inject himself 3 times a day.

He is very into working out so took full advantage and went to the gym every day. He also plays american football. He did not know which category he was on. Guess how much muscle he gained and fat he lost in a month?

Well HGH alone won't help much unless you stack it with other injectables (I shan't mention them but it's easily looked up) or if you take it for a prolonged (and I mean at least 6 months) periods of time.

Furthermore, it's not something I'm comfortable about discussing here... and I've very dubious about actual tests with HCG. Any more info on these trials? Seems a bit sus to me.

Oh, and he changed his routine - and probably affected his diet to doing that too.

How did he work out he lost 2kg of fat and gained 4kg of muscle? Did he take bioimpedance tests before and after?

Sorry, not denying what you're saying, but the story has a few bits of info missing.

They measured his body fat and lean total mass at the start and at the end...It just shows if you have the motivation you can gain muscle quickly
