The Pledge

Recently watched "The Pledge" again after a number of years.

Stunningly good film and definitely one of Jack Nicholson's best performances!

Great supporting cast including Aaron Eckhart, Benicio Del Toro, a marvellous cameo from Mickey Rourke and excellent direction from Sean Penn.

I Think this is a particularly underrated and in a lot of cases "unheard of" film.

Thoughts...?

Haven't seen it for a while - may have to watch again. A very memorable film and Jack was great in it. At the start thought it was just going to another murder/detective movie but didn't turn out like that at all - the last third of the film was great.
