There seems to be a few of us lucky enough to afford (or in my case lease, I'm not at the owning level yet in my life sadly) these fantastic supercars and having seen a few posts of late about VW's supercar, I felt we should have our own thread! So here is your chance to create envy amongst our forum brethren and though they are not able to reach our heights, I see this as a thread of aspiration for one day too, they could be Polo owners.....or leasers which is like owning, honest.

For clarity a Golf or an UP are NOT Polo's and simply not at that level. So you can stick your R this's and 1's that's up your exhaust pipe. This is only for VW's halo car so keep out!

Surprised there's no climate control in these.
Shush I had to stretch to afford this one (each month), could not stretch to fancy gizmos such as climate control! It's got a hifi and coffee holder! Read it and weep!

I will write an ownership experience at some point, just to rub in what it's like to own such an icon.

Good God the women.....

Housey, take mercy on me, I drive a mere SEAT Ibiza, a poor poor man's Polo!!! Let me at least lace your boot!!

Although in fairness, its actually really nice, what is it costing you? What deal did you get? Not that I'm worthy of leasing such a beast!!!

Twas 1200 down and 163 a month for 2 years on 5K per year. I have had to save and scrimp on to get there, but if I don't feed myself 3 times a week and work 4 jobs for 90 hours a week, I am only 10 quid off what I need for the lease, so my dad gives me that. But people think I have arrived and THIS is what's important in life. The bin men think I'm an MD

To those with a Polo dive in, you MUST post pics of your car, know we are spesh!

Sorry can't click DM links, banned it this year.

VW Polo 'as bad as a lorry for pollution': Popular model had nitrogen dioxide level 13 times higher than EU regulations allow
  • The VW Polo hatchback emits as much nitrogen dioxide as a fully loaded lorry
  • Small diesel cars like the Polo lack space for sophisticated emission controls
Andi.
Mine runs on that modern, really healthy (all of a sudden) stuff called petrol, so my Polo still best Polo.

My Polo was best polo. RIP.
Get some pics up!!!

Joking aside, this should also be an ownership shrine for all things VDub and hollow minted.

PS does a Golf count as it is a slighty bigger Polo.

You Chavs already have your own thread. This is not for you, this is for those who can afford to buy (or lease as that really is the same as owning) a Polo.

Come on Polo'ists, get amongst it.

I've just driven mine 140 miles down south and it's currently parked in a hotel car park. I will get up on the hour every hour to check on it, make sure no one is trying to steal it and also to stop Scmeeeeeeeeee or whatever her name is trying to bum it.

no sarcasm here really do like them Housey thats a stunning car, they really have come on a lot in the last few generations.

To be fair I think its a good little car and ideal for the reasons I bought it, which were to keep miles off my expensive car and not having to worry about where I drive it, take it or park it. It's nippy, eats miles relatively well and feels a lot bigger and insulated like a big car. I bought it because my father has one for the same reasons and swears by it so simply filled in some paper work and it arrive 3-4 weeks later at home. If I were ordering one as my main car then I would add a few options (DSG, Sat Nav, Climate, Active Suspension, Cruise Control) but outside of that it is fit for the purpose I bought it for.

Careful Polo owners, we don't want people to realise what they are missing. The reason we tell southerners that it's grim up north is because we don't want them here. Let's not give too much away about these supercars, nod nod wink wink etc.
