A picture I took today of our new dog called rupert who we got from the rspca after his previous owner had starved him . This is also one of my first manual exposure too!!:D Loving my camera

I had a great weekend in bath with my wife, here are a few pics taken up at the 'royal crescent'

It taught me a few things.... 50mm is good fun to play with, and is phenominally sharp for £90!

Secondly..... i really really want a 10-22mm canon lens.

Out for a walk today looking for landscapes - turned out the sheep were more interesting. (Kicking myself for leaving TC/longer lens at home now). Still good fun - even if it sort of went wrong. :D

Need to get out as much as possible to get to grips with the DOP using Aperture and SS.

Feeling left out with all the dandelion shots :)

I've got quite a few shots of these blossoms that I just can't bring out the detail in, they get lost in the background:

...and Jennie again :)

I really like the composition on these. The post processing is a bit 80's for my taste. I always think babies have such amazing skin its a shame to hide it behind sofening - purely personal taste though so feel free to completely ignore me

Edit - Actually having a good look at the baby pic, its not overly softened, is the focus point just to the left?, its a great shot and what a smile!
