I wanted to get something like that when a few of us met up in April in London but the wheel was closed for the evening when I went to take a picture. I like that a lot though. Colours and sharpness are spot on

Couple of Macro shots from the other day.
Was taking a shot of this spider when a hapless fly flew into the web. Within seconds the Spider was wrapping him up for lunch
Depth of field was a bit dodgy but you can just make out the silk being sprayed out of the spinnerettes.

I set the camera up on a tripod and a remote shutter; that was shot number 2 of 3 continuous shots

First try with extension tubes on my 70-210..should have taken my tripod with me and stopped down.

It is the Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 USM Macro - the non L version.

I went to a car show on Sunday morning and took the camera with me. It was great fun. I have posted these in the motors forum but thought I'd share them on here too (literally copied and pasted). Some photo turned out better than I thought so was very pleased in the end. The one problem I encountered was when shooting from a lower pov, the sky gets overexposed. I've never read about how to shoot vehicles so it was mostly from intuition but any c&c welcome. Wallpaper worthy?
People milling around so was struggling to get clear shots. And I've now realised you can fit more car in if you shoot on the diagonal, for those who don't particularly like the style.
Red blood and green guts. Where the hell did the driver speed through before getting there?!
