Nice shot but seems bright to me :P Makes me want to put sunglasses on lol

Nice! is it in Portland?

Thanks for you feedback, I just wanted to add some foreground interest, but I have a few without the flowers.

Nope, Fiskardo in Kefalonia, Greece. I work summers here as a diver :) I can dig out a few more if you want, most will be from last year as i have done very little photography this summer.

No problem, i do see what you were trying to do but for me it doesn't quite work, the colours are perhaps a bit distracting from the main focus of the picture Still a great shot though :)

It was extremely intense and hard light today, not ideal for a wedding.

I think it was also because it was night time... I saw it again this morning and it seemed more reasonable lol

You can definitely seen the harshness of the light in that newest one by the fountain though.

I heard a few times "lovely weather for photo's", I felt like screaming NO!
I was just hoping a cloud might at least partially cover the sun, but it never happened.

First ever photo taken on my D5100 (or any slr for that matter) that wasn't just me messing around in the house, critique most welcome! No editing done. :)

Went to St James' park today and this little chappy was posing for the cameras:

Only critique thats really required for that shot mate is get closer! :D

The closer you get, the more the squirrel becomes the subject of interest. Can crop the photo to do this or use a zoom lens next time. Good to see you have got out with the camera though as I know people who never leave the house with theirs!

Ha :) Knew that would be said! There's a fence between me and him, my knees were pressed up against it and I was afraid he would leg it before I got the zoom lens out (he did!) so that was taken on the 18-55mm. :)
