I got lucky again, it rained where and when I wasn't outside or at the place I was at.

Whilst I was here, back at the venue it chucked it down.

Looks like you have gone for a flatter and lower contrast processing style?
It kind of reminds me of some of my landscapes...

Would nearly be better having separate threads for themes such as landscapes, weddings, macro etc... Pictures in this thread get swallowed up & no time.

I think it would only work if they were made sticky's, but definitely a good idea.

Agree about the sticky part or else they could lost but I've no idea what it takes to get a sticky or how easy the mods are swayed into creating them.

Edit: See what others think anyway, just an idea.

Don't often post any pics because I'm a nobbler with uploading etc. This is straight from the camera. Special for me purely because it's my sister and I had the pleasure of giving her away. Inbetween the utter madness I took a few pictures. As the weather was terrible I was very very mindful not to get in the way of the paid photographer.

Anyway I will stick this through PP when I can build the energy with the others. She's away on her honeymoon tomorrow and I'm thinking of getting this printed for her as a gift. For those that print from their monitor settings, how does the brightness look?

As I said all the other issues, stray hairs, spots I will sort out in post as this is just straight from cam.

Brightness looks good, it's a lovely capture. It might be worth just checking if you can pull some of the details on the dress back as they might be a touch overexposed in the jpeg.

I'd brighten her eyes just a tad in post - next to the whites of her dress, veil and teeth, they can start looking a bit grey :)

Yeah I was definately going to do the eyes, yeah I was afraid the dress looked a touch bright. I haven't even ported them into lightroom yet :D

The histogram shows that you've lost highlight detail on the dress mate so you need to try and pull it back on the RAW.

Yeah would you pull it back with a bit of dodging or just try to recover highlights? The rest of the picture is fine, looking at my exif it was 200mm 1/125 with 0.7+ev. If I wasn't so rushed I could have dialled that back a bit. Hopefully I can recover it on the raw.
