So what do you think of the falling Pound? Some experts are predicting a 1.10 exchange rate to the Dollar in 2017.

If you voted to Leave, does this bother you? Or do you see this is a good thing as its supposed to make the UK produce more attractive on international market?

I've heard one of "leave" individuals suggest to take holidays inside UK instead of going abroad and stop whining. Do you share that thought?

I voted remain but the falling pound is clearly good for companies that export. Also with imports being more expensive it encourages people to buy domestic versions.

There are always positives and negatives. When life gives you lemons, make lemonade :)

I think it's scaremongering.

#sovereignty

How is it scaremongering? You do realize UK economy is built essentially on financial sector and services.

If big banks and services move out of London, do you realize the amount of money they will take with them? In return that would result in dramatic fall of the pound.

Great for some businesses who export or ftse 100 companies whose main earnings are in foreign currency.

Big down side is we import vastly more stuff than we export so a lot of food will go up 10% or more next year.

Perhaps we should go back to the fifties and just eat local food and not this foreign rubbish?

Tongue in cheek.

Do you realise they aren't moving out of london though?

It's making it more attractive for me to pay my student loan off in big chunks.

No. That's ridiculous.

Why do you think this? Citi's CEO admitted as much yesterday.

No he gave an opinion.

He doesnt speak for everyone, also there's the major fact there isnt really anywhere fo4 them to go.

People keep sayinf frankfurt but have you seen the state of the financial sector there? Makes londons future look like candies and rainbows

The relocations won't be as wholesale as many have suggested, but it'll certainly happen, and in certain parts of the markets it'll happen quite significantly.

It might be me but am aloof when it comes to currency exchange.

If am going on holiday it concerns me a little but nothing to worry about.

Day to day items cost roughly the same so cannot see the concern, unless you in big business.

I do follow the exchange rate daily by the way, as its a sign of growth or recession.

Low pound = Growth. ;)

I know sounds mad but that just how the cookie crumbles. :p

I voted leave, and had already booked a cruise with Royal Caribbean pre Brexit, I then booked some add on things like excursions/drink packages/photo packages post Brexit

all in all, the holiday cost me around £400 more for a family of five, I accept this and think it is a small price to pay to exit Europe.

Why does it bother you? After all, you don't live in the UK.
