The Problem?

My Family business is currently running the BT Business Homehub, lately though my computer either cannot connect or the connection to the internet is so poor I cant actually game online.
This is a network shared by 4-6 computers/devices. I ran the Speedtest.net and Im quoted with 6.46Mbps.
I am working from an ethernet cable linked to the router through a switch to my PC. Im surfing the internet right now yet I cant connect for gaming online :S
Troubleshoot suggests nothing is wrong.

Any suggestions much appreciated!
 
Too many variables to diagnose for sure. But often games like to have uPnP enabled on the router so they can open up listening ports they require. I'd start there.
Also do ping 8.8.8.8 -t for a few minutes and see what happens. sometimes interference can cause latency spikes and loss that will affect gaming, but not likely to prevent you connecting.
