The Prodigy - Invaders Must Die

Noticed this on Liam H's news update:

"got lots of other beats and pieces left over including a couple of live tunes i know people buzz off so the plan is to put that **** onto an additional disc that will be part of a box set or deluxe -not sure yet but those beats that didnt make the main album need to break out."

Ordered my tickets for the Sheffield gig today, cannot wait hopefully should be immense. :D

Looking forward to see what the download track is like as well.

INVADERS MUST DIE - FREE DOWNLOAD


To celebrate the imminent arrival of the new album 'Invaders Must Die' The Prodigy are giving away an edit of the eponymous single exclusively on theprodigy.com. Zane Lowe will play the edit Invaders Must Die as his ‘Hottest Record In The World’ at 19.30 on Radio 1, this Wed 26th Nov. Log onto theprodigy.com immediately after to download the track which will be available for the following 7 days.

You can watch the ‘Invaders Must Die’ video on theprodigy.com from 12 noon on Fri Wed 28th.

There will also be a free High Definition video download available from 12pm on Friday Nov 28th. This will feature on the X Box Live Channel until Dec 5th as part of the Xbox 'Xtival campaign'. For more details on Xtival please visit www.xbox.com/xtival08
 
I wonder what this track is going to sound like, I think it's interesting their choice to do this, especially as there is already going to be a single released before the album.

I reckon it will have vocals from either Keith or Maxim or both. I think they are keen to be seen as a band again like the Fat of the Land days and this might be a way of getting the radio listening public to hear something more recognisable as The Prodigy. A kind of "We're back" teaser...

I'm out seeing the new Bond on Wednesday so going to have to wait till later for this!
