I had posted this over in the General section YT thread, remove this if felt needed.
But, there will be some more saner members here who do not venture into the mirky waters of that section, beware of monsters and all that....

AIO productrion...

The guy with the tweezers straightening out the fins much have taken a day off at the time I bought my AIO....

Most informative and enjoyable, at least I thought. A similar video showing PSU production posted over in the appropriate section.

Added another video showing the production of PC cases, in the Case section forum.

At lest you now have the manufacturer's approved method of performing the correction! Not that there are many ways to skin that particular cat.
..

Another nice video, thanks for that.

I am overall surprised by the almost complete lack of automation, of course they're using machines and there are large conveyor belt based ones for the heat elements of the process but it's interesting to see that the vast majority of the process is either completely manual or using manually operated machines with significant levels of human involvement. I was also surprised by the amount of times each part is packaged and then unpackaged between steps, I suppose this makes sense to prevent damage or then becoming unclean on the conveyor belts but it wasn't something I has considered.

The process was most interesting to watch, as was the involvement of so many workers, good to see. Can you imagine if cleanliness was not so well observed, a point being the tiny gap fin channels that water runs through in how that could be blocked, or have "things" introduced that could add to corrosion or contamination, perhaps..?

Interesting watch. I've always preferred custom built but i think that's because when i first started watercooling there were no AIO so ive never got on the boat.

Having worked (very long time ago)
In a pc assembly factory (compaq still there but now it's HP)
And had a tour around IBM which think is gone now

Not surprised by the amount of human involvement
Or by the amount of times it's packaged/wrapped
In-between the different stages
Screws get dropped (a lot of them), workers sneak a snack they shouldn't
on the production line,,
Don't wear gloves when they're meant to etc
So yeah loads of opportunities for products to be contaminated
If they're not covered/wrapped between stages

AIO have come down a lot, if Noctua didn't send me adapter kit for my D14 I probably would have got this. Can't complain £83 for triple fan

Brilliant video. Never really thought how it was made.
A question for people with experience in production: how the installation of the channels where the coolant will run to the end of the radiator (that acts as a small reservoir) is sealed? Didn’t notice any soldering or similar. Can’t just be a perfect fit to the pre-cut opening in the “reservoir” ends?

Got a couple here
Would have to say soldered or brazed
Though these ones aren't bare metal
Painted black so not so easy to see what's under the paint
Don't really want to rip them apart
To figure out the construction in reverse though
