i got a gainward too and apparently the clocks are quite good from autodetect 598 on the core around 780 on the mem

I've just upgraded from my 3700+ @ 2.5g to a E6600 @ 3.2ghz on air at the moment, will push further when i am sure its stable. I currently have a 1800XT 256mb card and have just ordered Oblivion. Now how much of an improvement would i be looking at if i upgraded to a 7950gx2??? Or am i best to wait for the 1950XTX etc??? Or wait for something else? Any help appreciated. Sorry if this is not really the thread for this question.

My monitor is a 20" Widescreen dell Jobby by the way so all my games i try and use the native res which is 1680x1050.

I had an x1900t before, I played oblivion on 1600x1200 and outside i was averaging 20-50, now its 40-70.

the gainward i had, clocks pretty good, does 620/800 on air, autos at 59X/78X

id recommend that, was the cheapest at "somewhere else"
