Me, Nokkon, Abooie and dannyjo22 - all so close to 10,000 gamerscores!

Tonight despite needing to get up in 4 hours time, have been battling to get there before Nokkon, who is also close, me him and Abooie where all within 50pts of 10k!

But thanks to a blast of PD0 on live, manage to break it!

I know some of you hate achievements etc.. but i think it adds a whole new level of competition, it was quite fun playing different games knowing Nokkon was right on my tail, :D
 
You was bound to beat me I have nothing to play :p I dont have anything coming either until LOTR and I will be on holiday when that comes.

Well done anyway gamerscore whore. :p

Hey Kong's a good game by the maker of Beyond Good & Evil. I'll admit it doesn't have longevity but it's quite a blast and imo the Kong bits, when played loud on a big(ish) screen are some of my best 360 moments so far :)

/me looks at my EA games played...

Burnout: Revenge .. err.. lol, only a masochist would buy this for gamer points.
Fifa: WC .. err .. 500 points for actually qualifying and winning the thing and 500 of probably the hardest points to get on the planet (which is why I didn't bother, just wasn't fun).

Why I think this challenge was so fun, (first to 10k) is you look through the games played and you see Burnout: Revenge Perfected, PGR3 Gold and Plat. medals, COD2 on Vet. Respect :)
 
i could go and buy NBA and Madden, supposedly two of the easiest gamerpoints to get, also kong is easy and many people use it for points, that would boost me to 9000 points, my current score is just me plodding along

il admit burnout is a challenging game to get points on though, as is PGR3,
 
I didn't really buy any easy pointer games, i actually really enjoyed King Kong, and i love Fifa - argueable the 2 easiest games on my list.

I also have done some of the harder achievements, like PGR3 Platinum, GRAW on Hard, etc...

I dont care that my score is 10k, more that i reached that milestone before the others; like i say me and Nokkon at 2/3am this morning batteling through games to try and get to 10k was quite good.

Couldn't agree more, Burnout isn't exactly easy to get points on. Also, I enjoyed King Kong too.

Lol, last time I looked I was on about 9800 and you all were on about 9200. I took my foot off the pedal and you all went up to 5th and passed me!

A major GRAW session tonight is coming up! Just need to get the mrs off the TV.
 
I've got around 500 points in 24 hours, it wasn't really through TRYING to get the points either, they all sort of fell into place for Tony Hawks as that was the game I was playing, then a conversation started between me and McDaniel.

Then I said "Abooie is closer than us both! He only needs 45 points... I'd love to beat him".

Then it turned into a point fest last night, I fell short by 14 points, but I was (and maintain that I was) robbed by Full Auto.
