Welcome back. It's a copper vapour chamber. You'd need the red nail varnish if you're using liquid metal.
Lol! That's great to hear that one was a good sample
You go to, performance, tuning, manual, select gpu tuning to enabled, then under the graph there is a fine tunings button. That's where the good stuff isOn the new drivers how you work out the mv of the card. I was asked the other day and cant see no graph curve thing.

Thank you. I don't even bother tuning my one. Just leave it stock and be done with it Mine likes all the power!
Wish I could remember all that now I have one again. As I brought the card off Illuminist, he told me what it under volted too, and thats all ive ever done with it in the tweaking area really, anything to make it run a bit cooler.

I'm at 1000mv and 1900 core with 1100 hbm, no power increase. Its that the settings in the picture?
Sounds like PEBCAK to me. Why go for 3 different Radeon 7 cards, if you had so many problems? Pretty masochistic behaviour.
Did you install the driver fresh? Maybe even do a DDU first for a new cardEvening all,
Joined the Radeon 7 gang today. What a card.
Only weird thing I have seen is that the Radeon software is reading power as 700 odd watts up to 812 on load in the overlay. Of course that's impossible and guessing it's a driver anomoly?
Anyone else seen it?
Ta
Yeah totally fresh install as had a shonky old 8400gs in there so could use desktop stuff still for last few days so used DDU and started a freshDid you install the driver fresh? Maybe even do a DDU first for a new card
You're very welcome, you are the second person in this thread with an r7 from me lolThat's better, all sorted
DDU must have missed something along the way
Really impressed by this thing so far. Quiet and cool even in my little carbide 240 case. Step up in performance is rather nice over the old Vega too
Thank you @Illuminist
