After spending the whole weekend modding my jeantech neo case, these are some pics:

One lesson I learn't was do not mod a case using cheap thin steel, as it tends to bend a bit see from the pics.

Any views appreciated...

Blue seems to be Thrashed to Death, Red looks good - but still a bit common, mind you I haven't seen orange/white or yellow that much.

My Jeantech Aqua Case is sitting in my spare room not used, it has a 80mm fan on the rear, which I want to dispose of and fit a 120mm, but there's no room to fit one, any ideas on how to get around this ?

It looks good, did you take your inspiration from the coolermaster nvidia case?
If you want to complete the look, have you thought about replacing the LEDs on your fan controller?

PK!

I liked the idea of having 4 120mm's on the side, but not spending £150+ for a case, the led's on the rheobus fan cantroller have to be soldered out, they also change to blue once you pump up the voltage on the fan's. But im sick to death of seeing Blue LED Mods.

Where would I buy Tricolour Led's ? PM me.

But I like it anyway....

I got some more case's to mod aswell...

yes but who cares, knowing me I will Change the Case again in few weeks again with a different modded case and I have seen worse, what you call a mess is the average you will see in a lot of cases or even worse.

Why Don't you teach me ! ! !

Show me some pics of yours !

i think it looks cool :D

if i had to change one thing. i would get rid of the LED's and instead, use led'd fans for the exuast and front intake fans. and if you wanted to, use the on the side panel too but that might look a little ott.

anyway nice one:D

i think it looks great. nice project ! reminds me of something a bit retro with a nzxt zero sort of look. i like it . the green goes perfectly. apart from it being a little cluttered in there. its great !

i might pick up a case and mod it when i have time. a cheap case mind.

only "fault" is like you said the side panel got a little bent. but not really a problem. what are the temps like in there ?

thanks, regarding temps, I haven't had time to really push it, but according to speedfan my temps on each core of my Q6600 G0 range from 37-44c on idle, I have yet to change my hsf to my AC Freezer. From what I can remember bios temps for the motherboard were around 26c, northbridge temps I can't remember. But some pics will go up soon.

One Advice on buying a practice case, go no further then spending £20, that way if the mod goes bellie up, you haven't wasted a lot of money. The case I bought was £20 from Pure Crap World, their a bit hard to find but retailers still do stock them.

The Akasa Zen looks not bad for modding aswell, especially in White.

Hi

Here's an update on my temps, compared with my old setup which on load would take me to 65-70c, I get a 10-15c drop on load temps and thats with the Intel stock cooler still fitted:

Idle temps:

Now with 4 cores being used in recoding a dvd:

Not Bad eh ?
