I decided to try overclocking for the first time ever today and began by reading the beginners guide sticky. So far all i've done is raise my FSB to 370 giving me a new clock speed of 3330mhz. I've run Prime95 for 40 minutes and nothing went wrong, CPU temp didn't go above 47c.
The main thing i'm struggling to understand at the moment is how raising the FSB impacts on the speed of my RAM. In the sticky it says to decrease the ram divider to keep it running at stock. Trouble is, my BIOS doesn't have a ram divider option. The closest i've found is MCH Frequency Latch and System Memory Multiplier (SPD). I have changed anything since i dont know what im doing.
Basically, I just want to find out what i should be doing in regards to my RAM in order to keep a handle on things should anything go wrong.
Thanks
