How many of you sit here in front of your PC and wife shuffles in with the TV remote in her hand and say a very common phrase "the remote won't work"
First words are what have you done wrong -NOTHING - you must have.
Anyway I went and had a look and no joy -Freesat box did nothing - I did a quick check and found nothing - She then said I did dust the TV and all the boxes down earlier. AHhh - checked all connections and still nothing -
that was at least 3 weeks ago so today I decided to have a look so pulled it all out checked everything and still nothing - Even got the old Freesat box working so gave up - Just sat there with remote in my hand and pressed on/off - the red light next to it came on saying battery was ok and then by chance I pressed button the other side of red light and bingo it worked again.
Quizzed wife a bit more and she said a message came up saying if you wish to keep watching press any button on remote so she pressed the one with STB on it.
I have never known what that button was for but I do now.
