I haven't played older sam and max games, but this looks brilliant! I love the point and click games, and I have heard great things about this

If the game is half as good as the original it'll be awesome, if it betters it then there will be a load of pant wetting moments in game.

That's because Lucasarts canned the idea so the team that were making it splintered off and kept making it as a new company. I think that's more or less what happened. I'm pretty sure it's a lot of the same people that were involved in the original.

You are right that they canned the idea - but they didn't splinter off and continue creating it. The new game is TOTALLY SEPERATE from the cancelled game. The cancelled game is dead and the source code is gathering dust!

Ok fair enough. But am I correct in thinking it's still some of the same people making it?
