So last night we went to http://www.urbannightfeast.co.uk/ in Newcastle, just behind Central Station, next to the Royal Mail sorting office.

...and we met: THE RIB MAN. Without doubt, the best ribs I have ever eaten. If I lived in London, I'd be there all the time. He was only at the feast last night, got back to London at 8am this morning :eek:

Lovely bloke, and amazing ribs. His Holy **** sauce is something else. Really fruity, with a lovely tang - then the heat just hits you square in the face!

If anyone if about Newcastle tonight or tomorrow, I would definately reccomend coming down, and for those of you living in London - go and see the Rib Man ASAP!

I have all 3 of his sauces, get him to send me them out here. They're awesome. Not tried his ribs or pulled pork as I'm never in London when he is. Would absolutely love to though.

In all seriousness I saw him on some show (Lorraine-thingy's cooking show?) and it looked awesome. I'm not a fan of hot sauces, so are the ribs actually good too or is it just case of 'my hot sauce is hotter than yours' :confused:
 
these guys are at eat.st (kings cross) pretty much every thursday lunchtime so if you're in the area around then it's a great place to get lunch. the queue is always pretty long but definately worth the wait.
 
Honestly Scam, the Ribs were amazing - best I've ever had. The meat just falls off the bone. Worth a detour for sure. The Holy **** sauce is very hot for my tastes, so I water it down, but it's really nice and fruity. Defo try it at any rate
 
My Mrs wishes she liked hotter food as she loves the sauce but it's too hot for her. Flavour is really fruity and tangy with great flavour and not just all heat.

i order some holy **** sauce about 2 weeks ago and still not received it :[

and im getting no feedback from him about the order, really annoying tbh.

He said on Twitter he was mega busy, and appologised to everyone for the delays
 
My Holy **** sauce has just arrived.

Lovely taste and it certainly lives up to it's name.

I hate to think how hot the Christ on a Bike and Holy Mother of God sauces are!
