So, one of Ron's last appointment, Jost Capito, has left McLaren after 5 months. I suspect the original aim was to attract funds from Volkswagen (Capitos previous employer), but the emissions scandal killed that so he probably wasn't needed.

Doubtful, it's corporate 101, you owe your loyalty to who hired you. He was Ron's guy, Ron was removed, they wanted Ron's guy out and to appoint their own guy.

When CEO types move you often get their loyal allies being shoved out the door with them.

Literally just had this happen at our work place. A big clear out following the CEO going after the new CEO joined.
