Haha, just looking at buying options now and rather go ubi + as £13 but can see myself putting some time into this and coming back to later on down the line so may pay £45 Definetly get my moneys worth but undecided still

It's basically what I expected, far cry reskinned but people saying it's the best far cry so far

£13 ain't too bad. I will hang in there for the £1 Ubi pass offer though I think. Too many games on my plate now. Does look decent though. Not viewed it on my pc, but on my phone the jungle/forest doesn't look much better than crysis 3.

Just look at Dead Space. I got to play it for less than a quid on steam via ea pass which was on offer a few weeks ago. Now I can wait until it is a fiver or something to add to my collection

Triple a games don't really come down in price for a good while. The newest assasins creed game is £35 atm and it came out in October.

I don't want to wait 1+ year to play things lol

It depends on the game. If it is a must play game for me I would agree. If it is Far Cry blue skin edition then I can happily wait

Also depends on if I have games I fancy playing. If I had none and just purely replaying old games then I might feel differently.

As an example if I felt desperate for something new and fresh I would just drop £50 on BG3. But even that can wait.

Avatar looks incredible and runs very well FSR 3 works great too, dlss is definetly cleaner looking overall though especially in motion, hopefully be a patch to allow us to use dlss with frame gen soon.

I take back my comments, frame pacing is still broken and ****, it seemed fine at first but nope, just using upsampling provides a smoother experience overall and not just me but others on neogaf reporting the same:

Essentially you still have to cap your fps to what you will be achieving at all times as per dsogaming finding too.

It's not actually usable after longer testing and as shown with a 4090...... Smooth frame pracing with lower fps > high fps with awful frame pacing

So much like FSR 2 in 99% of games, no one will want to be turning it on and using it

Yup it's a shame as when it was working well for me there, it was very nice but alas, still issues, maybe next year!

Also, the UI issues with the frame gen are very of putting/immersion breaking due to how intrusive the HUD is in this game, even with the brightness for it lowered.

Thankfully the game runs pretty well as is so not much need to use frame gen.

FSR 3 works great too

Apparently doing a great job keeping Ampere going, and it's definitely a lot better than sweet **** all for those that don't rate DLSS3 highly enough by not buying it.
