Seems windows scaling was getting in the way, you need to run at 100% otherwise you end up on a lower resolution.

So my opinion now on the above thee now is:

they went from crap to ok

Tried Atomic Heart demo and I have to say, that is more like it! Not a fan of mannequins but apart form that it looks really good!

Just run Neon Noir benchmark. Last time I run it when it came out I got around 1500 points, this time I near quadrupled that score

My score is not far of a 2080Ti SLI score posted by someone on this forum

Love the benchmark. Shame you need to install the Crytek launcher to access it.

Another one that is not available is Bright Memory Infinite Benchmark. About to post some benchmarks in here in the meantime

Here are three benchmarks I run using the Quality, Performance and Ultra Performance DLSS presets.

Ultra Performance you can definitely tell the image quality is a lot lower and really should be used on an 8K screen as sugested. But still nice to have for those on weaker RTX cards.

Damn @Kaapstad I need to rerun all those benchmarks all over again, I was stuck in pci 4.0 2x mode even 1x mode at one point. Weird I never noticed this before as most benchmarks seem to be fine when bandwidth starved. Lol.

I currently am without GPU due to it developing a fault hence eagerly awaiting the AMD GPU release next week. I primarily play MSFS, currently it’s DX11 however there is a plan to introduce DX12 and therefore RTX/DLSS enhancements. I only game at 1440p so wonder if it’s worth attempting to get one of the new AMD cards or plumb for a RTX 3070 which while possibly slower than the 6000 series would offer DLSS later down the line which would boost MSFS FPS which is a huge bonus.

Wait and see benchmarks once reviews are out. To my knowledge AMD DLSS method once it comes out is meant to work on most if not all games, but will not be as good as DLSS. Is there any rumours of DLSS coming to FS2020?

In your position I would wait and look at the benchmarks, if AMD can match or beat Nvidia then go Radeon 6800. That said flight simulator stuff in the past have always run better on nvidia, so yeah wait and see what’s what soon.

Here are my new results after fixing my pci-e bottleneck issue and also running it with slightly higher core oc. I have observed that this benchmark is mainly core sensitive as overclocking memory does not yield better results.
