The RTX 2080 pre-order thread

Supposedly the low price was a promotional price which carried a unit limit as I was told, this is why it quickly went up. Although I’ll admit I think OCUK haven’t exactly got the most realistic pricing on it now.

I snuck in an order for two but had to go elsewhere due to the mega price jump here. Now expensive everywhere...

Yeah, I'll leave it on order now. As long as they don't pull a fast one and fulfill newer orders first at the increased price...which has never happened before, wink wink.

I'd read somewhere that the 2080 ti is expected around the 27th.
Another site selling the ti has it listed as arriving on 20th. Think these rumours only came about because the ti moved very quickly to 27th September on pre-order and kept going up on time frame until it went out of stock.

I think both gigabyte cards do, not sure what the difference between them is as they both appear to use the same cooler

Gaming has half a slot taller cooler (which is slightly different design) and 2mm bigger fans. Basically it should have better cooling than the Windforce, but probably by a very small margin.

The only ones that I have seen with the highest OC so far are:
Palit 1650hz: https://www.overclockers.co.uk/pali...ddr6-pci-express-graphics-card-gx-04b-pl.html
Gainward 1650hz: https://www.overclockers.co.uk/gain...ddr6-pci-express-graphics-card-gx-20h-gw.html

A step down:
Inno3d 1590hz https://www.overclockers.co.uk/giga...ddr6-pci-express-graphics-card-gx-1a0-gi.html

Why Asus, EVGA and Gigabyte are not publishing their OCed numbers?

I would guess their AIB cards coming after will claim higher, relatively pointless figures if anything like Pascal it will all boost much higher than advertised...

Be good to know from others tomorrow if people start to get their cards from OCUK. I pre-ordered on the 20/08 (ish) when my Gigabyte Windoforce 2080Ti had an ETA of 20/09 - the ETA has since been removed so I'm keeping my fingers crossed it arrives. I know Nvidia announced 2080Ti where pushed back but I haven't seen anything saying this also relates to AIB cards?

What's it been moved to? I contacted them yesterday and they are still expecting stock to arrive with them 20th (ish)
