The RTX 2080 pre-order thread

Or the Windforce TIs? :D

I was told by OCUK customer service that they got 18 windforce Ti's in earlier this week which all went to the first people in the queue. They couldn't provide an ETA on the next batch or quantity... other sites have 12th October and 15th October for due dates listed for this model.

A competitor site had some EVGA Ti's available earlier today @ £1,700+ and now they have gone  who are these people lol... I didn't know footballers liked graphics cards so much :D

18?!?? Someone mentioned there was 60 orders for the Windforce (maybe more now?). At that volume it could be a number of deliveries before one is assigned to your order.

Getting very close to cancelling. Don’t mind waiting but the lack of any information is annoying.

I don't think there was 60 or I would have mine.... 48th in the queue here :p I also don't think it's OCUK's fault for the lack of info I think all sellers request 100's of cards but they get what they are given (at least this early in a cards life cycle). I think how it is, is the only way it can be... imagine if they made promises they couldn't guarantee. Then there would be a lynching. Sit tight, good things come to those that wait ;) or jump ship and the pay the inflated prices on the cards that are in stock  BUT if it makes you feel better the way I understand it is initial deliveries are usually low with the 2nd batch receiving a larger amount.

Read it again, I said there was 60 orders not OCUK received 60 cards.

I'm considering cancelling because of the lack of information, other suppliers are providing more information. The only thing OCUK seem to be releasing is information around 1080 TIs. If the delay is going to go into Oct then other models of the card will release and I might as well wait to see what they offer.

As said in this thread as well it seems other providers are doing better at supplying as well.

Sorry it was that sentence in bold that threw me because it would be about 3 orders in that case. Just trying to help out, order elsewhere if you aren't happy or play the monopoly that's always a fun game then you might end up with 2 or 3 :D
