Quick check i have a

Corsair 850W RM850i (Gold) PSU powering:

Asrock X370 Taichi and Ryzen1700 OCed 3.8 with H80i Cooler
16gb Corsair Ram @ 3000
2 x 500gb Samsung Evo SSD
2 x HDD
1 x DVD drive

Currently running my trusty R290.

I am considering getting a Vega64 at the current sales prices. I was waiting for AIB cards, but after seen the Powercolor one no chance.

Question, is my PSU man enough to run this system stable and the Vega64?

Yup that crazy pricing for powercolour, don't know who on earth is going to buy AIB models at £600+?!

It has made that vega 64 LC at £600 quite tempting now

Why is that making the AIO card more attractive?

A 120 rad isn't anything special when compared to a triple 92mm air cooler.
 
Might as well go with water at that point was my thinking but you might be right. Clearly a review is in order :D

850w will do it Aricin especially if its a new psu but also check on a psu calculator.

Very smooth 4k GTA5 vid, even one card I dont think does a bad job

Should be more than adequate. I'm running an overclocked threadripper and Vega 56 on a seasonic 750W prime.

Can't even hear the ****** running, no pump whine, like the old Fury X, nothing :cool:

Says in the article, triple slot.
Looking at size of dual slot rear bracket likely little over three slots.
And anyway those fans need "breathing" space so it will consume full four slots.

Meaning if motherboard's main PCI-e x16 slot is one down from highest possible that means there's really only two slots positions available for anything else.
(unless you want to bake that another card)
 
Found my 2x Furys Last Light bench score.


so my Vega 64, is only just under 15fps on average slower at it, than what my 2x Furys in Xfire were.

Really need to get the latest AB on, so i can see my temps, clocks, boost etc.... :p
You should rerun the bench with Custom mode set, +50% Power Limit and 1050-1100Mhz HBM.
 
Really tempted by the Gigabyte liquid-cooled version at its current price, but I have a question. Does the Aqua pack come with the games? (Doesn't mention it in the product information.)

You should rerun the bench with Custom mode set, +50% Power Limit and 1050-1100Mhz HBM.

Might give that a try tomorrow :)

Said my Core was running at 1750MHz (which can't be right surely ?), and memory was at 945MHz, which is right.
 
Is anyone here with a stock 64 LC able to maintain a stable 1100 MHz HBM clock during games? In BF1 mine often drops to 500 or 800 depending on WattMan settings.
Currently @ P6 1712/1130, P7 1752/1180, HBM 1100/1100 (MHz/mV), +50% pwr.

I guess 1100 MHz HBM could be too far for my particular card but it would be good to know what settings can stabilise it on someone else's.
