I would go for the cheapest reference Vega 64 you can find if you intend to watercool.

Guys, would a EVGA 650W G2 be enough for a Gigabyte Vega 64? 54 Amps on the 12v rail. Would be running with a R7 2700XX. Or should I look to a 56?

Shouldn't be a problem. I've run my 56 with 150% power limit (300W+ draw) and an overclocked threadripper (230W draw) on a seasonic 750W without issue. A 2700X will draw half what my 1920x draws. With some sensible undervolting, you can achieve ~200W or so draw from a 64.

Ahhh cool, prices have shifted a little. That Gigabyte cooler for Vega is not upto the job though, but the Powercolor isn't much more so that's a good choice!

I impulse bought the Powercolor for £530, and am starting to have buyer's remorse because of the price!
