That's a juicy lead for Vega there. Modern API's giving AMD the benefits without Gameworks messing things up.AMD killing it with COD Black ops 4
Looks like it may be a start to a trend as Forza Horizon 4 also runs really well too.

Shame its just the one single game.
Monster Hunt world is another one, and I believe Forza also.
Vega64 seriously giving the 2080 a run for it's money lol
What is that price gap again?
Get those Vega' bought people!
Tbf theres loads of games Vega beats a 1080 but if it can even match a 2080 sometimes in future it is quite good. Hopefully more will come

Decided to wind her up just a touch more to break 27k GFX score, I know she can go maybe another 50mhz higher on the core, but I'm so nervous in doing it now.
Anyway, just joined the illusive 27k club https://www.3dmark.com/fs/16718879
It's only 5% off on the GPU score. Not a bad showing for the 2700x and that's pretty much an elite vega64 score.
I can turn the Vega up some more on the core but the memory is stuck at 1100. Yes i'm really enjoying the card at mo

Just 26371 graphic score.
The 26900 run was with adaptive speed at 6% with 1175mv and 18.8.1.interesting. Not enough juice going through the card? What did you use when you got your 26979 score? How many runs did you do? It might have hiccuped if just one run. Did you turn off freesync? turn off HBCC?

Wrote few weeks back that the 18.9.1 and latter drop the perf on firestrike.
Freesync is off but HBCC is on, do you think that might be the issue? HBCC?
Could be the mobo also, as the Z370I Strix might holding back power. In 2 weeks I will have the 2920X and far superior motherboard either way.
But I don't give up
Btw tried to add 1125mv or 1130mv. It outright crashes, but works at 1120mv.
Yet other overclocks work at 1175, 1210 etc. Temps not the limit as it hold around 30C.
