The RX Vega 64 Owners Thread

Im going to join in this fun as my card is a beauty, but i think the 2700x will hold the overall score back from being near yours, but I will try and beat the graphics score.
I have 2 vegas now and get 40170 graphics score with the 2 running :D

Brilliant, look forward to seeing that mate. I reckon there is a 27500 gfx score in this card but I'm a little apprehensive about giving it absolute beans again. She has done 1780mhz in games before, in the bench she was only hitting 1730mhz so there's more score there to be had if i want to be proper brave.

Looking at your rig we went for the exact same styling, I have the same size rads in the exact same place, the same Ek waterblock, the same colour fluid in the same combination of custom for gpu and AIO for the cpu, the same powersupply, superflower i believe?
and the same white led style fans... spooky

Good taste that mate :):p

And yes, 1200w superduperflower

I'm sure i saw you say you would try for 28k a few posts back. Dooo eeeet!

Nope, I can't seem to break even 26K on Firestrike, never mind get really close to that ... maybe my CPU is also holding back the graphics score a bit? It was stable though with the settings from Tony's https://forums.overclockers.co.uk/posts/32199108

Max wattage reported: 377W :D

You sure? 377W? Mine couldn't go over 320W with those settings :/ but the perf was not up to scratch.
Try the following. Close the tool.

Reset wattman.
Set adaptive 6%
Set manual P6 & P7 to 1175mv
Set the other power setting to 1100
Set HBM to 1100.
Set PL to 50%

Given it a try and let me know how it goes.

Hmm, this is all creeping up after Win10 1809 update and new drivers. Is that the secret sauce AMD's Sue was talking about?

The head of the Radeon software department said end of the year there are going to be the big news.... IMHO he is talking about HDMI 2.1 (and VRR) support for all RX cards promised in January. But this is AMD.

Also consider the V64 is 14-16Tflop card. (depends settings)
There is a huge untapped performance still in the card. Whole sections of it are not used currently yet nobody knows what they are about.

Then add in the mix the raw grunt power the card has. Few pages back posted the tensor flow benchmark. It beats anything Nvidia has, and breaths to the neck of the V100S. A GPU 20 times more expensive. And that in matrix computing without having specialised units like tensor cores.

Personally if AMD driver team manages to make games tap on the unused grunt power, we going to have some funny benchmarks against rtx2080ti.. .. Especially in Ray tracing ;)
