The RX Vega 64 Owners Thread

It's not too bad with a block on it, but yeah still way bigger than the reference with an EK block ...

Oooo, is that a block for the Red Devil?

I didn't think they made a block for that card.

Send an email to alphacool about it, they said at the time (couple of months ago) they would re-release the M02 block in 6-8 weeks but crickets so far ... should be due any time now. Mine is basically an early version of their block that had to be modified to actually fit on the card.

I have way too many hard drives lol. When the window is on the case it mostly covers them so hey ho.

An advice...
Turn the HDDs to the rear and connect them from the back. That way all cables will go out and from behind to the bottom. It helps to use SATA extensions here also shall you wish (around £2.5-3 each).

@Thekwango perfectly understand

Huh I never thought of that. I'll give it a go cheers.

haha yea, I get twitchy now and again just knowing the back panel of my case behind the motherboard is a birds nest of cables, I pop it open every month or so just to see if can tidy them up a bit more - I always close it back up disappointed!

Perfectly understand. Having 25 years ongoing war with cable management :(

Me too, though I'm leaning heavily towards custom cable solutions. The stock cables with products are often just inadequate.

Wasn't happy with the look of the stock cables myself so just made my own ATX and PCIe cables (same length as the stock cables, but that works for my set up). Still need to more custom cables and/or better lengths for SATA power, fans, lighting etc, but it's getting there. It's a shame that SATA cables are impossible to do custom though, they are really never the right length for what we need.
