Would this be classed as excessive coil whine? It's really distracting and as I've only had the card a week I am tempted to send it back. Using a 850W superflower Gold PSU.

Ive kinda only posted in this thread when I've been having issues with m V64. But they have magically stopped again :/

No bracket! Included, he.checked oc stock and they dont have bracket either.

Really cheesed off about it, return item then search for new gpu lalallala

The bracket is shown on the picture in that link. I ordered that exact same card 3 weeks ago and it came with the pictured bracket.

I can barely hear it. It sounds very minimal. Mine is way worse than that, it doesnt help that I have an open case but it doesnt bother me as I game with headphones.

Well there was not one in mine or the disc, not sure if you still get a disc, guy on phone said the rest of them in stock are the same.

It looks like I am very senmsitive to coil whine! I rung up OCUK and was told that it was luck of the draw. I tried it with Far Cry 5 tonight, the whining is really obvious. Even my partner who knows nothing about PCs was asking "what is that annoying noise!?". I think I will get a RTX 2080 instead but upgrade my 1070 to a Vega 56 as I fancy a change.

You tried using chill to set the frame rate to your monitor?

According to buildzoids breakdown of Vega vrms he said 125c is the highest you'd want to go, but they can technically withstand higher.

I know its not the point but support brackets can be bought separately for around £12
