Yup. In Wattman you could lock it so P7 would be the minimum p state.

If i left click anywhere on the state all it does raise it to the maximum (2400mhz), there's no option to lock the minimum state.

If i click the text for state 6 (or any other state) all that happens is this;

I realised the mistake. I had updated the drivers via the software itself which i assumed would be the latest version but it actually only updates to 20.1.3.

I've updated manually to 20.2.2 and i can now set minimum p states.

I've just installed a Sapphire 64 and after installing the latest AMD driver I'm getting constant black screen flicker. I've never used AMD GPU before so a little bit lost as to where to start with diagnosing if this is hardware or software?

Any help appreciated!

1920x1080 120Hz into a Samsung TV with HDMI cable.

Edit to add: looks like a cable issue? Any suggestions on best cable to use to get me from DP on the card to HDMI on the screen (no DP on screen).

Might be worth trying the refresh rate at 60hz some hdmi cables dont like 120hz.

60Hz has solved the flickering, thanks for that. Just need to suss if it's the actual cable or if I need to get a DP to HDMI solution of some sort.

Well, that's a result.

Been having issues with video driver crashes lately, usually while web browsing, with Facebook being a particular trigger point. Lockup, followed by black screen, then self-recovery after 30 seconds or so. Happened three times in a row the other day.
Seems to have been sorted by the latest driver package! 36hrs so far and zero problems!

How important is hotspot temperature? Is there a number I should be aiming for? I'm seeing it go slightly over 100C with normal gaming.

whats your oc as that seems high compared to my nitro, im seeing 88 degrees as a max after hours of gaming running 1700mhz, memory at 1090mhz @1100mv

undervolt i did, my settings above, though seems to allowed me a little more lately strangely
