The RX Vega 64 Owners Thread

MMMM Ordered 64 LE at 14.11 as per my confirmation email.
Orders still sat processing, no shipping emails no DPD txts.

Dropped a webnote to CS this morning and received the following!

The order has gone through fine, but we did not have enough stock to cover all the orders this is now sitting in our pre-order queue awaiting stock, an email will be sent to all customers in your position later on this afternoon.

Not happy, i suspect won't be getting this for 4+weeks now.

problem as it wont be translated to gaming fps, yet.
witcher 3 4k shows around a 40% increase but thats likely the best case scenario here.
for me it seems vega still is in alpha/beta driver stage

Yep - same here, have asked via webnote, just waiting on a response.
Will be cancelling if thats the case and taking a spin on the 56's I guess.
I'm probably going to keep my order in. If they honour the price. Worst case is I play the never ending waiting game and stick with my 390 until navi.

I got an email from Customer Services saying due to a internal printing error , i didnt get stock allocated to me ! :(
Expected Stock 11/09 !

Pretty poor , in my option , but i hope they will honor the price though if i get the order run. Annoyed to say the least.

At least they gave you an honest answer, With me they just claimed I wasn't fast enough which I knew was rubbish, I spent my day sat here counting down the minutes until I could do my order I made sure they had it in stock over the phone because I also had an in stock order in place with another site in case I was unable to get the card from OCUK for today. OCUK knew how long members here have been waiting but couldn't even ensure those that ordered got the cards given to them, They took £780 quid from me yesterday. Very disappointing.

I think I'm in the same boat as you. Put 2 orders in, one at 14:13 and one at 14:17 (I was on my phone and forgot to change quantity) - the 14:13 has posted and should be arriving any minute now, the 14:17 is still In Process, sent a webnote to see what the hold up is but I suspect they ****** up as with yours =(

That is for the Founders Ed.
http://support.amd.com/en-us/kb-art...-for-Radeon-RX-Vega-Series-Release-Notes.aspx for the RX Vega download (same 17.30.1051 version number).

There were two last night (cannot get to the website right now) - one for VegaRX (a 17.8.1 9th August one) and one for VegaFE (the old 17.6 driver still) - unless I massively misread it but there were two different vega sections

There is no CD or anything much in the box so there had better be one online.

Undervolting potential is huge, so far 0.100mv lower on Core and HBM and no signs of instability, but needs an extended test to validate stability.

Bug with HWINFO64, causes stuttering. Disable Vega VRM monitoring to fix.

cool, going home to drain my loop and put her in this afternoon Matt. Only going to be on air for the time being until EK stuff arrives, but will undervolt this puppy and see what temps she gets with an overclock.

watch a review vid by joker last night and he was getting good results undervolting the vega 56 so looks quite promising

I'm cancelling my order, been told they're hoping for more 64 LE stock on 28th Aug :-(
It was an impulse buy tbh and at least i don't need to explain to the wife now!

Oh well, enjoy them and happy new card day to those who ordered before 14.11pm

More bugs in reporting software. Hard to tell as clocks and voltages are reporting incorrectly in HWINFO and such.
