I thought the price drop was permanent so my bad, I am tempted by the Asus bundle but the risk of it not having the right bios on is putting me offBecause the pound tanked v the dollar and amd did drop prices on zen 2 for a limited time.
Yeh I think mine was around that but like back end of last summer. Just had a, look around now and it's 155 atmSo happy i bought it for 154 weeks before i had the rest of my parts. So far im loving my new build, not really messed with it
The pound has recovered somewhat so hopefully prices will start to reflect that.Because the pound tanked v the dollar and amd did drop prices on zen 2 for a limited time.

Aye, whilst I do understand there stance part of me thinks ocuk and others are to an extent increasing price when it's not neededStill the same prices over here as when I bought mine. (USD). Hopefully this is resolved with supply soon
Just got it down to 13.7secs with some RAM overclocking...Getting around 12 seconds on my b450 tomahawk max which as far as I'm aware is quite good for ryzen 3rd gen, my brother is around 17 seconds on his x570 taichi.
That might be whats making the difference then since i have my ram set to 3800/16.Just got it down to 13.7secs with some RAM overclocking...
Hell I'm only at 3600/16. I was 3466 before. That might be whats making the difference then since i have my ram set to 3800/16.
Totally a comment for the 3600 thread lolMan, my 3900x for £350 looks like the deal of the decade so far.
I would run something like Afterburner to monitor what is going on.I recently updated to a ryzen 3600 from a 4690k, im experiencing weird things with it atm. My CS:GO fps is lower than with the 4690k.. i had a look into and read threads about the power management and having AMD ryzen high performance setting on. I was originally getting around 120 fps with the 3600 which seemed stupidly low (3600 and a amd 5700, should be getting WAY higher fps than this, setting all low for max fps).
After i had changed the power settings i was getting 3-400 fps... but now its gone back to 120 and no settings have changed and the power setting is still on high performance, is my cpu throttling? other benchmarks for CS:GO with a 3600 and worse graphics cards are in the 3-500 range. Can anyone shed a light on this? Or has anyone else experienced this?
