Just noticed this is out here on the 4th December. MULTIFORMAT

It does look quite interesting, it could be just another EA mass produced garbage game, but you never know, Pandemic (before being decomissioned) certainly had it in them to make a unique game, and a fairly decent one too. :p

Certainly not a game I would get without seeing a review first, but it has been leaked around some sites and I know a lot of the big game sites are finishing the reviews off, so we should see them in a day or two! ;)

EA said:
Welcome to Nazi-occupied Paris, a unique open world where you are The Saboteur. Play as Sean Devlin, a street-tough Irish racing mechanic seeking personal redemption on a Nazi officer that has taken everything away from him. Now, it’s time for payback—with the help of the French Resistance.

British intelligence, an arsenal of weaponry, and your own street smarts and brawn, you must exact revenge on those who aimed to destroy your life. Motivated by retribution and armed with tactics of sabotage, blow up zeppelins, derail trains, implode bridges, destroy armored tanks, and level enemy facilities in the name of vengeance, in the first open-world action game set in Nazi-occupied Europe.

Anyone else think this could be an interesting one? If anyone gets an early pre-order, user reviews are welcome :D

Does this game support DX11 ??

Only games atm that use or have been announced to use DX11 are BattleForge , S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat , Alien vs. Predator , Battlefield: Bad Company 2 , Crysis 2 , Dirt 2 , Dungeons and Dragons Online (Game update adds DirectX 11 support) , F1 2010 , The Lord of the Rings Online , Race Driver: Grid 2

Thanks :)

Ive seen it mentioned but seems like just another WW II stealth game like velvet assassin, would need a demo or something to see if it adds anything new.

I can't say much due to a review embargo, but I've had a play of the first few missions of this, and I really quite enjoyed it, surprisingly so.

For us at least it's 5pm tomorrow, though as I'm not the reviewer on this one (I had a quick play before sending it on) I don't know whether our own review will be ready by then.

must admit, never played one of those EA mass produced garbage games.

i was told it had a review embargo until Thursday. may explain the lack of reviews, although IGN Aus give it 8.3

it's an xmas pressie from wor lass and as it's by pandemic, it should be ok.

Are we expecting any demos of this?

I quite like the look of it from what I've seen in the past few months but I'm not convinced.

What I meant was EA make a huge amount of games and a lot of them come through as just "run of the mill" games, nothing special.

I personally like EA and wouldnt slander them in such a manner :p ;)

You mean the EA franchise games, FIFA, Need For Speed, NBA, NHL, Madden, The Sims etc...etc...

EA of course have licenced some very good games in recent years, Dead Space, Skate (which seems to be a franchise game now) and Dragon Age Origins to name but a few.

It sounds alright based on that review...wonder if it could be one of the very few hidden gems that turn up from time to time?

Yes, I was talking about EA franchised games as a whole, not ones they have developed from the ground up :p

Though Pandemic has only been an EA developer for a short while until they were closed.

They tend to try and licence all games to be fair :D
