Hi guys,

I have been an avid MMO gamer for a few yrs now, but felt somewhat burnt out. So moved onto ARPG's and strata games for a while, but am now wanting to get back into a good mmo

mmorpg.com suggests the secret world is one of the better ones out, and it appears to have slipped under my radar ^^

Anyone play it ? any good ?

Best price ?

Great game but if you're not lucky, it runs like complete dog ****. A few of my friends have confirmed it's the same for them too, shame. Shows a ton of promise.
 
used to play this a lot was my main mmo for a year or so, currently taking a break, got a bit bored. Playing it as a single player rpg up until end game was pretty fun as the quests are proper involved and not just kill x amount of x, they feature action, stealth and even puzzle elements, and has a good story, actually feels like you are playing a good quality single player rpg. End game like the nightmare dungeons, and even scenarios (like a protect the npcs from waves of mobs mode) that some people hated was fun for a while but ultimately not enough of it, and i didn't much like the aegis system they added. Will probably go back and play the new story content they added since i last played at some point.

I'm also burnt out on the generic "go there and get 10 of these" mmo's, I'm looking for something vastly different but nothing out there looks that great.

Waiting on Star Citizen, my ideal mmo would be something like planetside 2 but with more to it than just shoot people.
