It was a 'bay' special. Managed to get it for a great price and after selling most of the hardware that came fitted with it it's ended up costing a similar amount to most other ITX cases.

Lovely build quality though - it's built like a tank!

I'm about to try watercooling it although some of the kit will have to be external. :)

Would consider a swap but the cost of insured postage is a bit offputting. :D

Here's some pics of my sff htpc,

Specs are:-
Antec Fusion Black htpc with standard 430 watt psu,
Gigabyte GA-G33M-S2,
2GB G-Skill 1066,
Core 2 7200 @ 3.4ghz (stock voltage) with a scythe mini ninja hsf,
Gainward 9600GT with hdmi output,
Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Xtreme Audio 7.1 (connected directly to amp via optical),
A couple of 160gb hard drives i had lying about,
pioneer blu ray optical drive,
Logitech DiNovo mini keyboard and mouse,
Vista HP 32bit.

As you can tell cable management wasn't a strong point in this build :D although there is still really good airflow in the case. Everything justs gets dragged out of the side by the 2 x 120mm fans which are barely audible on the lowest settings.

Too much stuff, I am trying to get rid of some of it to make it all look a bit cleaner. Looks a bit cluttered at the moment.
I have Pioneer DVR-433H HDD DVD recorder,
Old Technics SL-PG590 CD player,
The worst looking Thomson Sky Box I've ever seen,
A Toshiba Upscaling DVD player, not sure on model.
Yamaha RX- V420RDS Receiver under the Antec HTPC
A wii,
A Belkin wireless G gaming adaptor which is actually plugged into the pc,
And a cheap wireless TV sender.
Oh and not forgetting the 37 inch Samsung lcd.

Am thinking about getting Sky HD at the moment so that would get rid of the DVD recorder and the horrible sky box, and tbh the cd player can go as I never use it anymore. My entire music collection is on MP3's now.

Here's my new system. Not even looked at overclocking it yet, as need to read some guides first.

Still got to connect my existing Creative Gigaworks T20 speakers, or get a Dell AS501 soundbar (prefer concept of soundbar for less cable clutter). Find a floppy bay fan controller for quietening the two Noctua NP-F12 front fans.

From left to right...

  • The SB75G2 shuttle, P4 3.4, 1gb ram with 7600GT card, XP. Now relegated to the lounge running mediaportal under the TV. Due for replacement soon I think.

  • On top of the shuttle an apoen mini pc, T5500 c2d, 2gb ram, XP. My gf's pc, small & quiet, perfect for her web browsing & limited usage.

  • A Thecus N5200 pro NAS. Whats this doing here? Well it replaced a monster atx pc that used to be the file server & falls nicely into the sff category I think. 5 x 500gb seagates in raid 5.

  • A super cheap case holding an intel board, Q6600 & 8gb ram running vmware ESXi, hosting 10+ virtual machines on local & iscsi storage from the nas.

  • Finally my main pc, a silverstone SG03 with an awful fatality f190hd mobo, E6600, 4gb ram, 8800gts 512 running XP, vista(bleugh) & server 2008. I really must replace the mobo at some point to try & make it more reliable, it does tend to lock up quite frequently :(

I took some pictures while building it, I'll get them up tomorrow.

i was building it for a friend. Hes getting SUSE and WinXP pro installed so he can setup a Asterisk server for final year project and then to use as media server.
It's Atom 330, 2GB DDR667 Crucial, Seagate 500GB 32mb cache version and old optical.
