Neil,
If you have built that rig up by now, hows it performing ?

Mainly im interested in how hot that high end CPU is running "trapped" under that PSU, with limited spare.

Are you running the PSU with fan facing CPU, or sucking in cold air thru the panel ?

hi, yes its built and running however im waiting on the Geil to turn up still (damn snow).. even with "just" 4gb its performing very well, photoshop cs3 loads pretty much instantly for example.

idle temps on the stock intel cooler are about 45c. processing stuff in lightroom so far ive had it up to low 60's.

i am getting a replacement cooler, not for the temps but for less noise lol

psu is blowing out through the side panel.

hope that helps :)

Working on an Sg-05 build at the moment, unfortunately I'm waiting for the rest of the bits (due to the weather here).

Hey, yeah. It' a Siberian Tiger (NorthQ), same pump, block etc but slightly different rad iirc.

I have just redrilled the holes about 12-15mm lower and used a 2.5" HDD.

Raikiri, would you be free for a chat on MSN tomorrow? :)

Yeah, should be at some point after 5.

I got the motherboard and CPU today so done some test fitting, not sure if the graphics card I bought will fit.

Might have to get something smaller like a 5750.

Shouldn't be too bad once the PSU is completely sleeved, still a squeeze though.
