The SFF Case Gallery And Specs Thread

New monoblock finally on! Also installed the the thermalright Contact Frame while i was in there and boy did temps improve! I didn't realise how bad it was until i ran cinebench R23 on the same settings.

Before contact frame and XSPC Raystorm Edge cpu block i was hitting close to 94c at 5.0ghz P/core and 3.8 e/core @1.3v

After contact frame and now EKWB Monoblock Momentum2 im hitting 79c at the same overclock settings.

I'm now able to push 5.1ghz at 1.3v without worrying about the temps throttling, sitting at 82c. I could probs go higher but i don't think my chip is binned that high to go there.
VRM temps are also much lower with this block installed, sitting below 60c.

Bit of a work in progress but transplanted from the Meshroom S into the new case.

Switched from the ITX board back to the Z790 Hero as this case fits a full ATX board.

It’s the same height as the Meshroom but much deeper. Very slim though!

Perfect for hiding behind the monitor.

Stunning build, very tempted with that Dan H20 case and an aio. Do you run a power hungry system and are you happy with your powersupply?
Ive recently upgraded to a SFX-L Loki 850w psu to give me some head room and a future gpu upgrade this year. Only problem now is coil whine with the psu or a conjunction of both the psu and gpu in some way that is not happy with.

Despite the 3090 and 12700k in the system, it rarely goes above 600w while gaming. Usually sits around 570/580w from the wall so with efficiency losses its abit lower than that.

guessing you went with the 1kw version for the psu? Still amazed at how small it is lol.

Bit random ask but do you think a sfx-l would fit in these okay I'm looking at the 1000w Asus Loki PSU. I'll add a 240 aio but was wondering if it would fit okay

Yes it does, i installed the Asus Loki into this for a shortwhile before i upgraded to a different case. It wasn't even that tight tbh especially with the loki and its soft cables.

@Jay85 thats amazing to hear, I can put some quite beefy GPU and CPU inside this case.

With a 240 aio I'm probably looking at going AMD CPU. The tdp of their CPUs look really good. Would you think I could get a 7950x3d in their without cooling issues?

Yeah i think you will be fine, 240 aio at the top and you can also squeeze in a 4090 FE too. I've seen it done and it looks so compact but cool!

Blast from the past, but just picked up this system from a guy nearby for a bargain 100rmb, which is about £12.
AMD A8 7500, 8gb DDR3, 500gb HDD and all working as it should be.

Always liked the SG01 as a case. Guess it's not extremely SFF these days but pretty good. No idea what I'll be doing with this, just saw it pop-up on the used app and couldn't let it go to scrap.

The case section might be best. The SFF section never seems to get much traffic. :'(

SFF section is dead because its so overly priced that no one in the right mind unless absolutely stuck with it would buy into it. We're talking £400+ boards, cards that are too big to fit the case etc. I would love to see more 4090 SFF builds but its just either too expensive or not feasible anymore.

I feel ultra bleeding edge just isn't the place to be for SFFs unless you are made of money. Sure it's sometimes nice to see builds like that, but you can build decent mid-low end setups without completely breaking the bank.
With Minisforum/Morefine/Beelink, etc releasing some great systems too, I think the sector is still exciting.

When I did start to look I was really surprised at MB Prices for ITX etc....what going on there lol....about £250 for a decent board?

Motherboard manu's have had abit of a wake up call trying to copy the gpu market with charging stupid amounts of money. Sales have been there lowest in years so i hope its something they will realise and drop these stupid prices.
