2010 Boardman Road Comp in a rare clean state. I've had this for a year or so now. I ruined the rear derailleur so I upgraded that to Shimano 105. I ride it in any weather and generally don't maintain it at all bar some chain lube and it's been fantastic.

I might upgrade from the compact chainset one day but I've been very relaxed in doing much mileage and still don't get the most out of it as it is. Average about 14mph on my 5 mile commute.

Dup, if you ever want kids then I suggest levelling that saddle.

Haha, yeah it's much better now but still not totally level. That pic was taken last year after a clean and new tyres, I'd been fiddling with the seat height and position as I haven't been happy with them. Was going up and down my street testing and stopped to take the pic :) Cheers though, reminded me to have another go at it. Could do with getting fitted again really now I've done a year of mileage and know a lot more.

My commuter/training bike: Giant Roam XR3. 29er with 18inch frame and fits me perfectly. A lovely smooth ride.

@ JPH - dude dont lower yourself, the Formes are actually really well made, UK designed bikes built in the same factory as Bianchis & Pinnarellos.

That stag bike is a nicely specced bike for the cost......

Trek 4300, had 5 days and done over 30 miles already, been bitter cold on it though so would have done more miles.

Some bike porn in here, does the job for me pov spec but shocking how little £500 buys you these days, last bike I got Giant XTC SE t had Deore kit and that was £500 4 years ago

Cheers :) Don't get me wrong I'm well chuffed with it, a big upgrade from my Rockrider I had from Decathlon and, so far, it seems great.

I simply meant that there are some fantastic bikes in here!
