Apparently. I was waiting at a junction in Kingston and another contributor to the BR forums was driving home along the road I was joining. He said he saw me from miles away, figuratively.

Lidle have them on offer as of today.

Lights are the best thing you can have, but unless you've got a helmet mount their visibility from the side is limited.

I got some of the Lidl ones yesterday, they also use the 3M reflective stuff.
Not tried them on a bike yet though.

Mine are the 3M Lidl ones (in the pic further up the page) and they are superb in low light/dark conditions.

They are pretty darn effective from the side.
