The Sky at Night

Maggie Aderin-Pocock is rubbish, she speaks like she is addressing children.

I see where you're coming from but I think she is excellent. I really love watching anything she does. Heather Couper for a new generation.

Holy nutballs! I just did a quick Wiki for Heather and she died two years ago!

DR Becky agreed, the Sky at night is pants now, maybe its not for my generation but it seems to directed to thick people instead of folk with a little bit of brain power.

Wow, I used to enjoy this show but wtf is going on. Stick to science and hard explanations, not whatever this has become. Shame.

Yeah. Maggie isn't great. Her delivery is really irritating, which directly contradicts the reason for watching the programme in the first place.

I'm also not a fan of Rosie Jones for the same reason. Comedy is supposed to be funny, not like pulling teeth trying to work out what someone is saying in the vain hope of payoff from a poorly timed punchline.

Is anyone still trying to watch this?

It's a shame that it's now so far away from the format that Sir Patrick Moore used. My favourite part was when he showed the latest space discovery photographs; the only thing close now is the small section with Peter Lawrence.
