*** The SKY F1 2012 Coverage Thread ***

no practice sessions on sky go/anytime
no full race replay on sky go/anytime

FAIL. bbcs pre and post race seems a lot better aswell

Yea, i thought that was it, im pretty sure on virgin tho we have a £6 fee for HD? cant reamember but i was sure there way something

On a side note, im pretty sure that Virgin/Sky lower the bitrate on the SD versions of their sport channels to make you pay for the HD pack, because i had a look at football the other day in SD and it was appalling,

If you have proper Sky with a + box and aren't just watching it for free off your parents account there is no need for re runs.

SkyGo isn't meant to be a replacement to Sky TV, and your getting a paid service for free, so I don't think you have any grounds to complain.

I did hear on the sky forums that they are looking into replays etc on anytime.

Edit " abit unrelated but from March 25th you can get Sky Anytime+ on any ISP before (it was only for sky BB customers before)

Just ring up sky customer services and add anytime+ to your card free of charge, then you just need enable broadband connection on your sky box by going to "services" push down to sky+ setup up then "left blue arrow" to customise then down to "Broadband Network connection". run and ethernet cable from router to sky box

its quite a good service

It pretty much is, you can buy Sky Go without any dish etc and use it the same as the dish based service, with the same channels and options.

But I watched all the practice sessions via Sky Go so not sure why Arknor could not.

theres no way anybody apart from Martin will go and grab drivers like EJ did with the BBC.

But the problem was that once he had grabbed them, he asked stupid or pointless questions.

Or in the case of Dietrich Mateschitz at the end of 2010, doesn't actually ask anything!

I think he means replays available to watch on demand and i agree though, he's using a free service offered by Sky to their own customers. Whoever allowed him access is in breach of the Sky Go terms and conditions as well and I hope they are aware that the Sky ID they have allows access to the sky website where you can view and change bank details, upgrade packages, get extra boxes fitted and even book a moving home, all with the ID. I certainly wouldn't dream of giving my Sky go details to anyone else, but then i use both my devices.

Yea, they need to bring this, out from behind the pitwall, and put her up front, it might be the only thing that can save them
