The Smashing Machine

Was good to see Dwayne act this time around then just play himself like normal, I couldn't get over how distracting (not in a good way) of how Emily Blunt looked, rest of the cast looked like they were from the time period this was set in but with the work she's had made her look out of place.

Felt like they glossed over plenty of his story, saw this on IMDB and agree with it:

If you're like me and have no idea who Mark Kerr is, what his life was like, or what he achieved, then I would say this movie still doesn't answer those questions, fully. I want to know who is. Where did he come from? Why is his relationship with his girlfriend so tumultuous? How did he get into MMA? How did he provide or become the transition for UFC? When and why did his addictions start?

Sadly the film doesn't answer any of these.

Pretty much sums up my review in the "What Film You Watch Last Night" thread.
