The snackiest snacks

Cinemas snacks are a different story however, and this Wednesday we will FEAST on some epic snacks :D

Despite turning my nose up at the thought, I recently tried M&S salt and pepper cashews and really liked them, normally just get salted ones, I find theirs to be consistently good size, some cashews are tiny, Sainsbury’s next best I’ve found.

Biltong as said is my favourite snack but I can’t be spending £150 a month on stuff I demolish in a few days. Though tbf that was a big taster order because @Diddums keeps throwing new ones to try out there.

Boring mixed nuts (unsalted) work nicely too. Often just have a spoonful of peanut butter if I’m peckish (pip and nut).

Get boxes of sweet and salty popcorn, 78cal a bag means you can eat more bags!

For sweets, Candy Kittens, like most of them but tend to get the Eton mess and wild strawberry ones more.

Keep getting those free with sky rewards thing. I don’t mind the flavour but it’s like trying to swallow crackers, very dry.
Wash your mouth! They aren't dry, they're amazing!

A quick look on reviews on them from Tesco. I found this one which means there must be a million more!

Got these as a quick snack when filling up the van. I like that they are a healthier option to rubbish and the flavours are good but I personally found the amount was more than I could enjoy without a drink as they are very dry.

I don’t mind struggling through them when they’re free, but I wouldn’t buy them.

In recent years I have grown very fond of dried mango, and like custard creams, I have done my research and sampled dried mango from as many shops as possible and have come to the finding that Costa and ALDI dried mango offer the softest and tastiest experience. ALDI ones being cheaper, and in bigger packs obviously.
Bought some from Lidl tonight... It's ok, but I'll have to try Aldi to compare. Some bits were nice but others a bit too dry. We don't have a costco (edit: mis-read Costa...) here so Lidl and Aldi are probably the limits of what I'm willing to spend...
On a broader snacking notion... I always thought TimTams were pretty much the same as Penguins, but bought a pack the other day and was horrified at how easily they evaporate!
I've also recently (mostly inspired by the hot weather last week) overstocked on various ice lollies... they're generally 40-60 calories and take some time to eat, so probably better for my weight than my general snacking habits :)

Edit: Biltong is also awesome... we have a local Saffer who makes and sells his own, it's incredible but also rather expensive and I could easily devour £10+ worth in one go...

I'm hooked on Salt and Vinegar pork scratchings. Place I used to buy them in 1kg bags burnt down though not found a good place to get them anymore.
