Inter Milan have retained the Serie A title on the final day of the Italian season by beating Sienna 0-1. It's their fifth consecutive title and Mourinho's second.

Having already won the Italian Cup by defeating Roma, Internazionale are on target to win the treble by winning the Champions League final on Saturday 22nd of May.

Well done to Mourinho...looks likely that hes off to Real Madrid next season as he doesnt like Italian football or as he said a few mths back...italian football dont like him:p

Juventus in 7th as well. Sampdoria are back in Europe as well.

Edit - just read that 13 sides changed their manager this season. Crikey.

Mourinho at Real Madrid is a very worrying thing. They could become an actual team!

And apparently they want that bloke in your sig as well if the Sunday papers are to be beleived (which they probably arent)

On topic well done Mourinho and an even bigger well done to Sampdoria, always had a soft spot for them so nice to see them back in Europe.

I actually always thought he was killing time waiting for SAF to retire... ;)

Really don't think that Mourinho going to RM will work at all. Way to many ego's at one club for it to work. No doubt Pellegrini will get the sack in a few days but he has broke records at RM this season and deserves to continue building Galacticos II. 96 points is an achievement in any league (and if they had of been trying today instead of doing Malaga a favour then it would have been 98)

It would be very interesting to see! He has a history of dropping players that don't track back and work for the team- can he get Ronaldo to do that? Real have also fired manager's, including the current England manager, for not playing offensive football- something that the special one is hardly renowned for.

It's amazing that they struggled so badly to win the league, given how impressive they were against Chelsea and Barca. Serie A is fairly weak atm, yet they only managed to get 82 points, which would only be good enough for 3rd in both England and Spain.

Good on him I say! He's great and adds a lot to the game, like him or loathe him.

Maybe he'll come and stir things up at Liverpool......*

*I can always dream :(

I think the Arrogant One lol will do a superb job at RM...he will definitely turn them into the side that they should ie winning just about everything and anything but whether he can deal with the lack of job security there is another question entirely.

that's the rotund DJ!

I'm pleased he's won another title, I am #1 Jose Mourinho fanboy. When he ran onto the pitch doing an aeroplane at the end of the CL semi-final, I died laughing. The guy is a legend.
However I'm not sure I'd want him managing my team? It's clear he's a bit arrogant, and any success he (deservedly) achieves is only going to prompt him to move clubs again. It does seem that he's always looking to further his CV by winning trophies in another league with another club for his personal glory. He's hardly the kind of manager that's going to stay for ~10 years and build a dynasty.

Great manager though, and ****ing excellent entertainment, so I hope he comes around to the Premier League again sometime soon.

He does tend to make his teams play the most boring to watch football at times, although I suppose his press conferences make up for the entertainment loss. Loved that at Barca when Inter knocked them out though, he went mental. :D
