Reference will boost to 1279 then throttle to 1263 when it hits 65 degrees.

Or less. That's with an asic of 89.

It would be interesting to see how the ti faired with just the memory overclocked to 8000.

Stock Fury-x :D

Even overclocking the Fury X doesn't do much, I had mine running at 1150 and 550 on the memory and I got the smallest performance boost I've ever seen from overclocks.

980 Ti overclocked though beats the **** out of the Fury X, Gets in a car, Runs over the body, Buries it, Pees on the grave, Goes to it's house, Puts the kids up for adoption and sells the wife to a harem !

They should have done the test with a custom 980 Ti like the Classified seeing as the Fury X has an unfair advantage in the cooling department so it doesn't have it's clocks throttle down.
